First of all with heavy heart let me inform you that after a lot of discussion, we have decided to postpone the Human Chain Event, the main reason being - No Police Permission . Police is not at all allowing us to organize this event on Aug 15. But this is NOT the end. We will come back strongly. We would like to thanks you all for showing your faith in PowerOfYouth (PoY) and keep encouraging us in our so far a short journey.

A special request to all Zonal Reps of PoY
Friends, PowerOfYouth came into existence just 2 mths back. Started with an individual, having 1000's of supporters today across the globe. We really want to bring a revolution in India. Govt can't make fool of us by implementing insane policies. And PoY is assuring you all about our commitment for our nation. Few setbacks can't stop us. We already have a good team of dedicated and steadfast youths, who wants to do something special in their lives for India rather than just pursuing their careers and earning money.
We don't want to loose a single member of PoY. We have a big team with us but still some of them are not active. Hence, requesting you all to be the part of PoY's journey to India where " EVERYONE FOLLOW ONE RELIGION – INDIAN : EVERYONE FOLLOW ONE CASTE – EQUALITY". Lets grow together. Still if you don't want to be the part of PoY, please reply us saying "I QUIT" ... we'll remove you from our list of Zonal Reps. But before that, please read this completely to have an idea of Future Plans of PoY. What went WRONG:
We admit that there were some flaws in our approach. But we would like to mention the reasons behind such a disaster. These are not excuses, these are facts and we are still very happy with whatever we did in last 2 mths but we failed on most of the things that were beyond our control.
1. No police permission : Police has completely denied any possibility of giving their permission for the event on Aug 15 due to the security reasons. Going ahead without their permission could get us arrested. We are not afraid of arrests but violating their orders means getting public ignorance which is not good for the event and PowerOfYouth. 2. The event has lost its importance : We had a plan to form world's longest Human Chain to put this deaf govt in an shameful situation, but few other groups have already conducted similar Human Chain events in many parts of India, many times. Public is fed up of these small events which fails to serve any purpose till now. 3. Lack Of Awareness : PowerOfYouth came into existence just 2 mths back. Started with an individual, having 1000's of supporters today. But still, to execute such a big event successfully, lot of planning, resources, funds and experience are needed. We lacked in almost all areas as this was first venture of this kind for most of us. Whatever we achieved is due to the dedication of our team members, without any real support from any group. We tried our best to coordinate with different groups but in vain. From the beginning we have been stressing that these politicians are taking advantage of out lack of unity. Our only agenda was to do something bigger that will directly put a huge pressure on the govt. We didn't want another event of 500-1000 people that will go unnoticed as has happened so far. And we still feel that successful execution of this event could prove to be a beginning of a revolutionary phase in India. REMEMBER : The event is postponed, NOT cancelled. So keep doing your job, we'll soon come up with the updated plan. Future of PoY: PoY has bigger and long term plans. We will not be yet ANOTHER organization. We learned a lot during the last couple of months.The dedication of our team and supporters kept our spirits high and its encouraging us to come back strongly in a well managed way. We will be back strongly. Today PoY is recognized just because of Human Chain Event, and we will execute this event as a launching pad for PoY. For this we are in the process of doing the following tasks: - Getting PoY registered as an organization: - Building a committee for a better coordination and planning: - Building a team having specialized members for specific tasks depending upon their area of expertise: - Most Important : Learn from the mistakes of PoY and other groups and to form a very strong and influencing organization that will fight for the common causes taking along people from all castes, religions and groups:
